The NET Patient Foundation has been working with the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service (NCRAS) on developing a role that will sit within the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) Directorate in Public Health England whose aims are to deliver an internationally recognised, high performing knowledge and intelligence service encompassing research, statistics and know-how.

The post holder(s) will link together several existing datasets on neuroendocrine cancers, producing analysis on the management of neuroendocrine cancer patients within the UK. This information will then be used to ensure we are delivering the best care, advice and guidance to those we support and provide evidence to inform and assist us in developing our services further.

The NPF need an experienced Data Analyst who can gather, manage and evaluate data from a range or sources. This analysis will include how patients achieve a diagnosis; whether they are looked after by a specialist team; their access to scans and treatments; and an overall examination of the relationship between these and the outcomes. They are looking for an individual who can build strong relationships with key stakeholders and can work collaboratively in order to obtain the data needed for this important role. You must have demonstrable skills in understanding and manipulating large amounts of data and be comfortable working in a remote managed setting.
