NETs for Newcomers

NETs for Newcomers is a national course under the aegis of UK & Ireland NET Society (UKINETS) and is accredited by the RCP for CPD.

It is a one-day course for trainee doctors and consultants in all disciplines wishing to gain confidence in the diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), including gastroenteropancreatic NETs, in a multidisciplinary setting.

The course is delivered by an expert multidisciplinary faculty and there is ‘mock MDT’ practice in small groups. Its first three years received excellent feedback.

Registration is highly subsidised so the fee to attend is very low and the more different disciplines involved (gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, endocrinology, etc.) the better the discussions.

More details on NETs for Newcomers 2020 to follow.
