NETs for Newcomers – An Introduction to NET Medicine
UKINETS presents the fourth annual one day course for doctors of all specialties who wish to learn more about Neuroendocrine Tumours.
NETs for Newcomers is a national course under the aegis of UK & Ireland NET Society (UKINETS) and is accredited by the RCP for CPD.
It is a one-day course for trainee doctors and consultants in all disciplines wishing to gain confidence in the diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), including gastroenteropancreatic NETs, in a multidisciplinary setting.
The course is delivered by an expert multidisciplinary faculty and there is ‘mock MDT’ practice in small groups. Its first three years received excellent feedback.
The course will be online with lots of interaction in all sessions including Q&A with a panel of international experts.
The course fee is £40 but free to UKI NETS Members.
CPD points (six) have been applied for.

Delegate Documents
Confirmation will be sent to all participants in written form via email after completing registration. Further instructions for joining the online event will be sent to your registered email address prior to the 28 May 2021. Please avoid using an NHS email address where possible as these are subject to enhanced spam filtering and may block these communications.
Online Payment
All payments for the meeting must be made in GBP.
The preferred payment method for the conference is on-line payment with a credit/debit card. Upon providing your personal details in the on-line form, you will be automatically redirected to the WorldPay secure payment site before confirming your registration on the final page of the form. An automatic payment receipt is sent by email from WorldPay if the payment is processed successfully.
It is important that you click the ‘FINISH’ button and request confirmation via email, failure to do so will mean your registration will not be complete and may delay entry to the online event.

How will it work?
The NETs for Newcomers course will be conducted entirely online, with all attendees registering prior to the event. Full joining instructions will be sent to your registered email address in advance of the event.
Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?
All sessions will be pre-recorded by each speaker however, during sessions there will be a live text chat box Q&A giving you the chance to pose your questions to our speakers/ panel, and gain their insights.
