In 2017 we launched our Bitesize Guidance Library, and in 2018 the clinical practice committee aims to develop further Bite Size Guidance. Our aim is to offer management algorithms and guidance for specific conditions and circumstances in a format that you can easily access on your computer, tablet or phone.
We are currently finalising guidance for the management of pulmonary NETs and paragangliomas.
Examples of the topics being considered for this year are:
Management of gastric / rectal carcinoids;
Investigation and management of diarrhoea associated with NETS.
However, we want this guidance to be as relevant as possible to society members so we would like to hear of any clinical situations that you feel would benefit from some practical Bite Size information. Please contact us if you would like to participate.
The committee are also looking into the requirements for running national audits (retrospective or prospective) on behalf of UKINETS with areas of practice to be audited still in discussion.
