I am Charlotte Dowd and I represent the allied healthcare professionals on the UKINETs executive committee.

I have been working at the University Hospital of Wales since 2017 and I am currently the neuroendocrine tumour specialist dietitian in the South Wales NET service. I have 6 years’experience working in gastroenterology, NETs and hepatobiliary surgery with specialist interests in managing patients with gastrointestinal symptoms.

My name is Stacey Smith and I was recently appointed as the UKI NETS Nursing Representative and aim to represent your views and interests at UKINETS.

I am the Lead NET CNS at Birmingham NET Centre, ENETS CoE and have 9 years’ experience in NETs and hope to bring my experience and insight to help improve standards of NET services in UK and Ireland.

I welcome any suggestions to improve NET services and I amhere to offer support to nurses and AHP.

Neuroendocrine Cancer UK is thrilled to announce that we have now launched the competency-based, CPD accredited NCUK Academy Nurse Course:www.ncukacademy.org.uk

The NCUK Academy was designed for nurses (and allied healthcare professionals), working across a range of healthcare settings, to provide an easy to access, online resource for Neuroendocrine Cancers, what it is, how it may present and how it is diagnosed, treated and managed.
